Cambridge Nursing Assistant Academy
is hiring Instructors for the CNA/GNA training program
Gaithersburg Campus
Day Class - Mon-Thurs 10am-2:30pm
Weekend Class - Sat/Sun 8am-4:30pm
Hyattsville Campus
Day Class - Mon-Thurs 10am-2:30pm
Job Duties
Implements the approved training program;
Supervises the classroom laboratory experience;
Evaluates student performance in the classroom;
Provides supervision and clinical evaluation of each trainee at the clinical training site;
Ensures that attendance and grades are recorded for each student and class;
Provides hands-on instruction and practical training to create an engaging learning environment.
Provides instruction to adult learners with varying educational levels, abilities, and backgrounds and is able to appropriately adapt and deliver material to the multiple experience levels.
Required Qualifications
RN licensed to practice in Maryland, new graduates may apply
or LPN licensed to practice in Maryland, with at least 5 years of clinical job experience
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to instruct students in coursework in the following topic areas: Certified Nursing Assistant Advanced Patient Care Skills
Strong interpersonal skills and aptitude to work with people at many different levels and backgrounds
Experience with technology-based instructional delivery systems: projectors, DVD players and/or other
classroom technology.
