We are seeking a personable, dependable, professional individual who is interested in joining a busy private practice full time or part time as an optometric technician. We want our patients to receive an exceptional eye care experience which starts with the front desk/technician! Experience as a technician in an optometric/ophthalmologic/optical setting is strongly preferred however we are willing to train the right individual. We are looking for an individual who is seeking a long term career and is dedicated to the practice.
Responsibilities:
- pretesting (autorefractor, IOP check, visual field, OCT, and other equipment)
- insertion and removal training for contact lenses
- ordering trial contact lenses
- checking patients in and understanding insurance benefits
