Seeking talented and conscientious part-time (currently Wednesday and Thursday every week, but may need to work more hours in the future) dental and medical receptionist to be part of a growing dental, medical, and acupuncture center in Fairfax City, VA. The employee will have a variety of responsibilities that include scheduling appointments, interfacing with referring physicians, verifying benefits, collecting payment, using a variety of electronic health systems, and providing outstanding customer service. At times, the environment will be fast-paced, and the employee must be able to multi-task effectively. Patients are multi-national, and the employee must be sensitive to cultural differences. One year of working experience in health care customer services is preferred. Bilingual (English and either Chinese or Spanish) applicants are encouraged. Familiar with EagleSoft is the basic requirement for dental receptionist position Understand billing is a plus. The Employee will have the opportunity to learn and assist with medical and dental procedures. Applicant Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.

At least 1 year of previous experience in a customer service role or specific training as a medical assistant or dental assistant.

Dental receptionist needs to know how to use EagleSoft.

Ability to multi-task and provide outstanding customer service to patients with medical or dental needs.

Comfort using a computer and common MS Office products.

Comfort with operating standard office equipment such as calculators, copiers, scanners, and fax.

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Strong work ethic and a positive desire to learning new skills.

Desirable Skills

Associate degree in healthcare or other related field.

Previous experience in a medical setting.

Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish.

Be flexible on working hours and tasks assignment.
