AEIO is seeking an experienced Human Resource professional to serve as a member of the Human Resources Delegated Examining team responsible for conducting external recruitment under the Delegated Examining Unit (DEU).

Provides support for HR programs requiring knowledge of Federal HR operations, procedures and requirements. As directed will perform tasks in any area of HR including: file/records, staffing, and recruitment.

Essential functions:

• Performs a variety of duties associated with external recruitment of candidates to staff positions.

• Provides continuing technical advice and assistance to Federal Agency personnel on external recruitment methods and practices.

• Screens job analysis and information provided by other specialist and managers to ensure complete and adequate information required by OPM and revises as necessary.

• Answers complaints/inquiries regarding qualifications ratings or other issues.

• Prepares vacancy announcements, works with recruitment sources to post announcements in USA Staffing, monitors recruitment box for applicant resumes, determines qualifications of candidates who apply for vacancies, prepares a certificate of eligible candidates for selecting official, and notifies candidates of selection/non-selection.

Qualifications:

• 6 to 10 years of experience required.

• (Minimum) 5 years of Federal HR experience.

• DEU Certification is a Must.

• Experience with USA Staffing desired.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form.

• Knowledge of staffing, recruitment and placement; position management and classification, employee relations, employee benefits and executive development.

• Ability to work independently and under extreme pressure and short deadlines.

• Knowledge of and ability to interpret federal and state employment laws, policies, and regulations.

• Excellent conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Ability to manage time and workload effectively.

• Detail-oriented.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Sound judgment.
