Groundskeeper/Landscaper
We are looking for an experienced groundskeeper / landscaper to help with our beautiful property. Position requires the following:
Maintaining (mow, trim, weed, fertilizer applications, irrigation monitoring) of property
Operate power mowers, edger’s, blowers, manual tools, lawn maintenance equipment
Knowledge of gardening products such as fertilizers/ herbicides /pesticides and proper application to lawn
Must have knowledge of various types of foliage, flowers, trees, shrubs and other greenery and how to maintain them.
Physically walking the property on a frequent basis and removes litter, debris, cigarette butts and pet dropping from the grounds. All areas to remain neat and free of litter at all times.
Familiarity with sprinkler systems and other landscaping equipment
Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoor for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Must have proof of a valid driver’s license and clean driving history
Responsibilities:
Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, common areas, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office parking lots and community buildings.
Meticulously maintains curb appeal.
Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter.
Assist maintenance team with snow removal
Represent the community in a professional manner at all time-on/off property
Ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner
Ability to speak and understand basic English
Able to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work
Salary rate predicated on experience
Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
