Private real estate investor looking to hire an individual to take care of landscaping and grounds needs for several local properties in owners portfolio in Fairfax county. Must have experience with residential grounds maintenance (mowing, trimming, managing/maintaining landscaping beds, hardscape). All landscape maintenance equipment provided by employer.
valid drivers license (occasional need to drive company vehicles)
need to be able to be trusted to operate/work independently without regular supervision
Must have vehicle since travel within county between properties will be required from time to time.
Basic English-speaking skills required (English as second language is fine)
Background check will be performed as part of employment application review.
Must show proof of legal right to work in USA; pay will be weekly by paycheck with taxes withheld (IRS Form W-2 will be issued at end of year).
Initial engagement of 6 months, with review in October for continuation of position through winter and possible additional benefits
Start date negotiable, but prefer start as soon as possible.
Successful applicant will be able to demonstrate they are trustworthy self-starters that has sufficient experience, takes pride in their work, has reliable transportation, a clean background check, legal right to work, with good references from previous employers.
