We are looking for a litigation associate to analyze, conduct discovery, litigate and make client recommendations concerning cases in MD and DC. The work is mainly workers compensation hearings, discovery and trials, with a small portion of other civil matters, including personal injury, property damage, contract breach, subrogation and the like. Some plaintiffs work, but mostly insurance defense, which requires report writing to adjusters to keep them advised concerning case developments, strategy and exposure, as well as research and legal writing for briefs, motions, etc.
Car is required, as there will be need for appearance at depositions and courtroom appearances for hearings, motions, trials. Compensation will depend on versatility, relevant experience, knowledge and ability to work on and complete assignments well and independently. Please specify salary range needed.
