A Catholic non-profit organization offering religious services to military personnel is looking to hire a Development Coordinator to work closely with the Development team to enhance the donor experience. This is a dedicated, mission-oriented team and a successful candidate will enjoy furthering the goals of the organization.

The Development Coordinator provides key analytical and administrative functions primarily associated with data entry/database management and supports the senior management in timely and accurate preparation of reports, detailed data analysis and review, and maintenance of donor profiles. Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day operations for recording, acknowledging, filing and reporting of contributions and pledges. Processing of donations and timely acknowledgement of gifts and data clean-up.

Preparation of reports, detailed data analysis and review, and maintenance of donor portfolios.

Web-based research

Cultivate and maintains relationships with donors through direct mail, phone calls, emails and special events to fulfill donor benefits and to increase contributed income

Assist in the planning and implementation of events – may include pre-event details, responding to inquiries, assisting with registration and staffing the event

Update donor records and maintain the database integrity

Develop and maintain productive and respectful relationships

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fund raising, marketing or sales

Proficiency Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience interfacing and building relationships with donors/clients/customers

Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task

A self-starter with initiative and follow-through

Ability to work collaboratively and a proponent of teamwork

Able to apply sound judgement, maintain confidentiality, and conduct oneself with integrity & focus

Flexibility – ability to attend and staff weekend events as required

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
