Temp-to-Hire Meetings & Events Technical Specialist
Do you have experience with both meetings & conferences as well as handling the technology systems associated with the project management side? Our client, a medical educational association in downtown Washington, DC needs a Temp-to-Hire Meetings & Events Technical Specialist to handle project management work involving the electronic scheduling of events and their conference mobile apps for upcoming meetings and conferences.
They promote and conduct educational meetings and conferences throughout the year, and this person will manage the entire program planner life cycle as it pertains to event technology management. There is collaboration with the digital communications manager to ensure that program planner links appear on the organization’s conference webpages.
A key parameter of this position is mobile app management. This person will serve as project manager responsible for the design, delivery, and management of the meeting and event technology ecosystem and its data for their conferences. Each conference is different, so there will be collaboration with the meeting and project managers as well as the mobile app vendor to deliver a meaningful experience for conference and event attendees.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Training/experience on CadmiumCD is preferred. Must have advanced level skills with Excel or Smartsheet in creating data charts and reports. Strong MS Office skills, of course, are needed as well.
