The Choice Inc is a DC-based recruitment agency that works primarily with nonprofit organizations and associations.

One of our clients, a prominent environmental affairs organization, is seeking temporary administrative support (approximately a few months, strictly temporary) for one of their philanthropic divisions.

This could be an ideal opportunity for a grad student or candidates seeking to gain additional nonprofit experience. We are eager to connect with candidates with some previous administrative experience (could include Hill internship or paid experience) and with immediate availability.

This organization works hybrid in the office 8-10 days/month. The office is located in downtown DC close to every metro line. They also require proof of Covid-19 vaccination and booster.

Will be a Monday-Friday schedule, around 40 hours a week.

Job Duties:

Serve as key point of contact for Nonprofit grantees demonstrating superior customer service exhibited through timely, solution-oriented responses

Facilitate the administrative processes for Director, to include but not limited to: processing grant agreements, grant database management, facilitating vendor contracts and invoices, developing and monitoring purchase orders, tracking upcoming payments due, assisting with budget preparation and management, helping to plan meetings, supporting activities related to the deployment of specific grant-funded programs.

Assist in reconciliation of grants

Support general administrative needs including background research, preparation for meetings/presentations, follow-up on meeting action items, scheduling department-related events, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required

1-2 years of experience related administrative experience. in partnership, non-profit, or education work, including administrative support work with increasing responsibilities
