Growing Insurance Company looking for candidates to immediately add to our customer service/administrative team. We are an independent insurance agency licensed in Maryland, VA, PA & Washington DC. This is a fast paced environment with uncapped potential for earnings and growth. We are looking for the right person to become part of our successful insurance sales team. The opportunities are unlimited for the right individuals.*

Our office is open Monday through Friday 10am to 6pm. This is a full time 40 hours per week position.

*If you currently have a Property & Casualty Insurance license we would love to talk with you! *

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

-Professionally answer telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate team member.

-Greet and direct visitors in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner.

-Open and close visitor area

-Take and retrieve messages daily.

-Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).

-Oversee postage meter operations

-Provide Administrative support to all Agents and other members of the administrative team as requested.

-Scanning, faxing, filing, copying

-Replenish Office Supplies when needed

-Organizational skills

-Self-motivated

-Detail oriented

-Proactive in problem solving

-Able to learn computer functions

-Juggling many inbound call prioritizing and problem solving.

Qualifications

-High School diploma

-Bilingual is a must!! Fluent in English & Spanish

-1 to 3 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

-Some college preferred

-Must have a reliable source of transportation

-Reliable and punctual

-The ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change!

-Must demonstrate strong organizational skills/strong attention to detail and follow through

-Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills

-Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills and be customer service driven

-Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments

-Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

-Bringing a POSITIVE attitude to the team :)

Compensation: 35k minimum base(depending on experience) + monthly commissions + aggressive bonus plan (total compensation could be 45k-60K) + Benefits include 2 weeks paid vacation & sick leave your first year(increases each year), health insurance, plus paid holidays on your 90 day mark.
