Part-Time Operations Associate Job Posting
Education nonprofit Turning the Page seeks a part-time (3 days per week) employee to join our operations and logistics team at our warehouse in Landover, MD. Turning the Page raises funds for our parent engagement programs in D.C. public schools by collecting thousands of gently used book, CD, and DVD donations each month and then selling these donations both online and at physical locations such as our downtown "pop-up" sales. The duties of this part-time position primarily include processing donations, picking and shipping online orders, and corresponding with customers online.
A general love and knowledge of books as well as being a wiz at IT-related tasks is always preferred! Must be organized, responsible, detail oriented, and able to lift boxes of books weighing 30 pounds. Position is 24 hours per week ($13.25 per hour), three days per week, 8am-4:30pm.
