We're seeking energetic, outgoing individuals who like being outdoors year around to sell our products at farmers' markets in Washington, DC and Alexandria, VA. We currently participate in 3 markets on Saturday and one on Sunday. The market are a lot of fun and the customers are great!
The shifts start between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. and end around 1:00 or 2:00 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday, depending upon the market.
You must be friendly, reliable, trustworthy, and enjoy being outdoors. You also must have a car and a clean driving record.
As a Market Staffer, you would be responsible for:
- picking up the tent, tables, baked goods, and supplies from our bakery in Woodley Park;
- setting up at the market and selling the goods; and
- returning what's left to the store.
While we would prefer people who can work most weekends, you don't have to commit to every weekend.
