Your Dog Smiles Pet Services is hiring Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters in all of our service areas. We are looking for Pet Loving Professionals who would love to make money caring for other peoples pets.
Job Highlights:
* Pick the visits that fit your schedule. Day, evening and weekends available.
* Pick the area that is convenient for you. (Must be one of our service areas)
* $14-$20 an hour on average. Paid by the job, not the hour.
* We pay every Thursday for the previous week. Pay by ACH, Instant Pay or Check.
Basic qualifications, requirements and things to consider when applying:
* Do you genuinely care about the health, care and well being of animals?
* Are you able to handle varying sizes and breeds of dogs. Some jump, pull and love all over you with their big wet tongues.
* Are you able to walk dogs in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow and more.
* Are you able to self manage, honest, responsible and reliable?
* Will you submit to a background check?
* Are you at least 18 years of age or older?
* Do you have dependable transportation? (Your Own Vehicle is highly Recommended)
* Do you have great communication skills and are able to communicate with various people including the YDS office and clients daily through electronic notes, hand written notes, emails, text messages and phone calls?
* Do you pay attention to details, attention to direction, organization and time management?
* Sorry you cannot bring your kids and pets at client visits.
* Do you mind driving to our drop box location in Reston to pick up keys and supplies on occasion?
* Do you own a smart phone? (i.e. android or iPhone)
* Can you commit for 6 months or longer?
Basic Descriptions of Job Types:
Mid Day Dog Walks
* Our Mid Day Dog Walks are Monday through Friday 10am - 4pm.
* Clients are looking for the same sitter to come daily during these time frames.
* Walks take place in various weather conditions.
* Basic dog walking skills and knowledge is a must.
Pet Sitting Visits
* Service Hours for Pet Sitting visits start at 6am - 11pm daily.
* Clients typically require 2-4visits spaced evenly throughout the day.
* Pets may include dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, reptiles, etc.
* Visits take place in various weather conditions.
* Basic pet care skills and knowledge is a must.
Overnight Pet Sitting Visits
* Service Hours for Overnight Pet Sitting are 8hr (10pm-6am), 10hr(9pm-7am) and 12 hour(8pm-8am)
* Clients typically requires a dinner visit between 4-7pm and sometimes additional visits spaced evenly throughout the day.
* Pets may include dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, reptiles, etc.
* Visits take place in various weather conditions.
* Basic pet care skills and knowledge is a must.
Compensation
* On average pet sitters who work "full time" hours make between $400-900 a week.
* On average pet sitters who work "part time" hours make between $50-400 a week.
* Pay is distributed each Thursday for the previous week Monday through Sunday.
* Pay is distributed by one of the following options: ACH, Instant Pay by PayPal and Check.

About Your Dog Smiles Pet Services (YDS)
* YDS began in January 2008 as a mid day dog walking company and grew to pet sitting within the same year.
* We care for many types of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, fish and more.
* We have over 35 Pet Sitters and are looking to grow to 60 by the end of 2018.
* We promote from within and have positions in management available for future growth.
* Our goal is to keep clients and their pets pets happy and stress free while clients are away.
* We teach Pet First Aid and How to be a Great pet sitter in our office located in Sterling Virginia.
