Management Position available for experienced tile setter who has excellent people skills and is ready to take on management role in a reputable small business. We are an established family owned tile installation company serving MD, DC, VA for over 20 years.
DAILY TASKS:
Monitor tile installations
Serve as manager to installers
Travel between multiple jobs daily (in company truck)
Resolve tile installation issues and job obstacles
Communicate with clients, installers, company staff
Provide guidance to installers on site and by phone
Find/Recruit/Screen new installers when needed
Represent award-winning local tile installation company as management professional
Provide order quantities and materials take offs
Assist office staff when needed
Reference NTCA and TCNA manuals when needed to ensure best installation methods
Troubleshoot installation issues
Assist with installations when needed
Meet regularly with clients for planning, customer service, problem resolution
Pickup and/or transport materials
Gather info for estimates on site, and assist with estimating in office
Correspond with clients, vendors via email and phone regularly
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years as Master tile installer (not helper)
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Excellent digital communication skills (email, web searching, etc)
Excellent driving record
Clean criminal history
People Skills
Management Experience
Knowledge of tile industry
Excellent knowledge of past and current tile installation methods and products
Residential construction industry experience
Proficiency in reading blueprints/drawings
Professional demeanor with clients, fellow tradesmen, and colleagues
