Demolition Company in Fairfax currently seeking an experienced heavy equipment and diesel mechanic.
Job Description and Requirements:
Repair and maintenance of Road Tractors, Trailers, Roll-offs, Dump and Pick-up trucks
Manage daily tire inspection and maintenance
Repair and maintenance of all various sized equipment including excavators and loaders
Advance knowledge of diagnostics, inspections and preventative maintenance
Create preventative maintenance schedule and maintain records of all work performed
Assist with road calls and perform required repairs
Work with limited supervision in shop and jobsites
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work requires stooping, pushing, moving and reaching overhead
Work outdoors in various climate and temperatures
Valid driver's license and good driving record; preferably CDL
Possess own hand tools
Must maintain a safe and clean work environment
Work starting time 5:30 AM
40 Hours weekly
Work additional hours as necessary
Work with Shop Assistant
