Job Description
Independent Fed Ex Ground Contractor is looking for drivers in the Sterling and Ashburn areas.
In order to be considered you MUST have: -
- You must be 21 or older;
- Clean driving record (maximum one ticket in past two years);
- Be able to pass Drug screen, back ground checks and DOT physical test (you don't pay for the tests);
- You should have a minimum 1-year work experience driving a like-sized commercial vehicle within the last three years, inexperienced drivers can be trained but it takes some time;
- Have reliable transportation to and from work;
- Be prepared to come to work every day, 5 days a week, weekends off !
- Be able to lift up to 150lbs;
- Have strong organizational skills;
- Be enthusiastic and have the willingness to learn;
Pay starts at $800 per week (before taxes) and you get a raise every six months.
We offer paid holidays and two week paid time off per year which can be used for vacation or sick days, this position currently doesn't offer any other benefits.
The routes we currently need drivers are located in the Sterling and/or Ashburn areas.
The work day usually starts around 8-9am and ends around 5-6pm.
