We are seeking a tech-savvy and creative individual to help manage online content. Extensive IT-related experience is not required for this role- simply moderate proficiency in HTML/web development platforms in addition to creative writing/editing skills would be an ideal combination. The website you would be working on caters to twenty different types of membership focuses for a national nonprofit organization, and this position will be working to manage content productions, layout, and formatting of 3-4 of the membership portals. We are looking for someone that can ideally start within a week or two.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Working to expand the reach of content generated by the member groups, research efforts, and allied organizations to other audiences.
Responsible for the collection and reporting of marketing and communication efforts
Executing some minor tasks in graphic design.
Collaborating and managing efforts in the production content including webinars, videos, podcasts, and articles.
Monitor knowledge projects for effectiveness and recommend improvements based on research derived from environmental factors, metrics, usage reports, and user feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
⢠A completed BA or BS in business, marketing, communications, project management, or other applicable field
⢠Ideally at least 1-2 years of content management experience. Familiarity with web content management platforms/HTML/WordPress is preferred.
⢠Superior written and oral communication skills
About the office:
All work must be performed on site in the DC office. The office is located very convenient to Farragut North/West. Very cool location to work at in downtown DC- can easily walk to the White House area, monuments, or DuPont Circle for lunch!
