Essential Duties: For IT initiatives defined as small and medium:
Performs project planning, resourcing and scheduling.
Convenes cross-functional teams and drives project activity to defined milestones and deliverables.
Monitors, tracks, and reports on project schedules.
Update's project stakeholders through weekly status reports and appropriate meetings.
Document's decisions and processes and ensures knowledge transfer to Operations at the close of the project.
Performs delegated project management lifecycle activities such as schedule management and report generation for large-scale programs and projects.
Supports the IT PMO by gathering and synthesizing data and information required for the implementation of IT
implementations and process improvement initiatives.
Ensures adherence to internal review processes and technical standards.
Supports the development and implementation of IT PMO processes, tools, techniques, and measures.
Experience:
Three (3) to Four (4) years' of directly related experience.
Excellent understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Strong interpersonal, written communications, and persuasive skills; comfortable and effective working with peers.
Expert with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, and excellent working knowledge of Project.
Thorough knowledge of business management concepts.
Strong understanding of, and commitment to, continuous business improvement processes.
Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with IT application development and architecture is desired.
Knowledge of SDLC and IT solutions, desired.
Must have: The minimum amount of total work-related experience required is three (3) years, for the position. This means experience in a related area or time spent performing similar work that provides the background for the current position
