DescriptionAccounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. We are on the look out for a talented Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will control payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, and full cycle A/P. Manage Accounts Receivable
Arrange sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Manage Accounts Payable
Administer monthly accounting close
Form monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
File cash flow projections, as needed
Index budget transfers
Other special projects as requested
Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Adept in credit card management and reconciliation
Complete cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Condense business license and gross receipts
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
Comprehensive knowledge of Sage Accounting Software Required
Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
Significant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Highly organized and self-motivated
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
7+ years of related experience- Sound written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
