Job Description
Are you a high school or college student in the Daytona Beach area, who is interested in engineering, electronics and writing code for embedded devices? Silversphere needs your helpand well even pay you for your time! Were looking for the kind of person who is excited about technology, a person interested in things like microcontrollers, embedded Linux, Bluetooth, WiFi, IoT, just to name a few. You would be helping out the hardware team as we design the next generation of products, and picking up valuable experience along the way.
Key Qualifications:
A desire to learn, and help
Technical aptitude
Familiarity with coding concepts : Variables, Functions, Loops, Structures, etc.
General computer skills and familiarity
Ideally : A Maker.
What will you learn?
You will be exposed to every aspect of product development from writing code to manufacturing, and product support. Everything we sell, we build right here in Daytona. Youll learn and improve your coding skills in C, Python, and Javascript. Youll learn protocol stacks, developing and debugging on microcontrollers, and embedded Linux. Youll learn about source code version control, and code reviews. Youll learn how to use oscilloscopes, multimeters and other lab equipment. You might even do some soldering, and electronics troubleshooting.
In short, youll be working with a real engineering team, in a real engineering environment, working on real products.
