These one day course for a dental assistant who has been formally trained by a licensed dentist for a minimum of three months. Students in the EFDA and/or XRAY class must be proficient in all areas of expanded duties and radiographic functions in a clinical setting. Students registering for these classes will be required to be prepared by reading, studying course materials and pass an online exam.

Dental Assisting Institute prepares its students for an entry level position in the dental field. We include educational training along with a primary focus on actual hands on training in a clinical setting. After our 10 week course, each student will be required to do a practicum in local dental offices for a minimum of 3 month externship.
