• Repair and maintain production equipment (e.g. machine tools, power tools, presses and welders, etc.) to include hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical repairs
• Initiate/perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment on regular basis
• Install electrical circuits
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Technical training preferred
• Basic PC skills
• Proficiency in blueprint reading to include electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, gauges, volt meters
• Must have good problem solving/trouble shooting techniques
• Operate all required tools and equipment such as welders, torches, jacks, drill presses, power tools, fork trucks, lathes, bridge ports, etc.
• Must have good communication skills and record keeping practices
• Must be able to work overtime with little or no notice
• Flexibility in attitude and willingness to work in all areas as needed
• Ability to understand and follow work instructions
• Ability to be cross trained
• Ability to work well in a team environment
