Local Boca Raton IT and Real Estate company is looking for a Full Time Bookkeeper, reporting to the CEO. Compute, classify, and calculate the fundamental aspects of our firms financial record keeping, including billing, recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, while reconciling bank statements and posting transactions.

Job Responsibilities:

The Bookkeeper maintains records of financial transactions within QuickBooks Online (QBO), Bill.com and Expensify.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Monthly and Semi-Monthly Billing

Accounts Receivable (management and client communication)

Accounts Payable

Verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

Monthly Bank Reconciliations

Monthly Credit Card Reconciliations and billing confirmation

Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.

Maintains historical records by filing documents.

Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

Perform detailed research/adjustment functions

Maintain and balance general ledger and reconciling errors

Generate 1099s and W-2s

Assists with budget preparations

Assist accountants with tax preparations

Qualification requirements

Associates degree (A.A.) from 2 year college or technical school; Bachelors degree (B.S.) preferred

1-3 years related experience

Experience with Quickbooks Online critical

Experience with Outlook Critical

Experience with Excel and Word Critical

Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.

Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs

Physical demands and abilities

Regularly work on repetitive tasks

Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand

Regularly understand the speech of another person

Frequently bend to file and maintain files

Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds
