Trucking company looking for a warehouse/Dispatch clerk
Overall job description is to organize inbound freight in warehouse, load local trucks for delivery and serve as a point of contact between drivers and Customer requirement
Warehouse activities:
1. Organize freight by routes
2. Loading local fleet for deliveries
3. Prepare discrepancy reports
Dispatching
1. Schedule drivers to make deliveries
2. Communicate with customers to arrange details about their shipments
3. Serve as a reliable point of contact between drivers and clients requirements
4. Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a company, combining shipments based on their routes and timeline to minimize how many trucks and drivers are out.
Requirements
1. High school diploma
2. minimum 2 year experience on the field
3. Bilingual Spanish/English (preferably )
4. Forklift Experience
