Architecture and construction firm looking for an autocad drafter
Proficiency on AutoCAD is a requirement
basic knowledge of word is required to write letters
experience in construction or architecture is a plus but not required
work position will be drafting for plans for different types of residential and light commercial jobs
Preference for prior experience putting construction plans together for additions or homes
Autocad experience required at least 2 years using the program
Must be organized and well spoken
Legal residence and English is required
Transportation is required as will be traveling to some job sites and building departments
Mileage will be paid as per the law requirements
The right person will also assist in the office with the rest of the staff , following up on permits,
Comments or corrections, clients, inspection results, organizing jobs and writing emails and letters to clients
Any other software a plus, but not required.
