Required Skills:

10+ years of progressive IT and Operations experience , ideally moving up the technical ranks from Systems and/or Networking Engineering to Technical Project Management

2+ years of experience of managing projects as part of an enterprise PMO - familiar with established PMO best practices, standards, and methodologies

Strong understanding of financials related to project management - tracking budgets and milestones, PO's, reconciliations, and managing run rate to risk

Experience with PM tracking tools and software -Plainview PPM, Innotas, Clarity, MS Project, etc.

Implementation Project Management experience - 3rd party applications and understanding of security

Excellent communication and presentation skills - will be responsible for leading calls and large MS teams meetings to include employees, contractors, vendors, etc

Able to build and foster high performing business relationships

Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment



Desired Skills:

Automotive Industry experience

PMP Certification

New build , construction, and/or real estate move IT PM experience
Plainview PPM



Description of Role/Responsibilities:



Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Technical Project Manager, IT Operations for an immediate contract need with a client in Fort Lauderdale. In this role, you will be joining an enterprise PMO and will be supporting the business units that support retail payment systems, store operations, as well as real estate and acquisitions builds. The ideal candidate will have come up through the technical ranks of either Systems or Networking Engineering with exposure to Security and has since moved on to Technical Project Management. You'll primarily be responsible for leading 3rd party vendor software implementations and will be supporting our client's retail and service locations. A strong understanding of PMO best practices, tools, and financial/budget/risk management is required. You'll be expected to work with a variety of teams internally, vendors, and provide status updates to Sr Leadership for both IT and Business Organizations. We're seeking a highly effective communicator who enjoys building strong performing relationships.
