Job Description:

Need (10+ years) SENIOR, PMP CERTIFIED PROJECT MANAGERS WITH EXCELLENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT FINANCIAL (FORCASTING, BUDGETING, RESOURCE ALLOCATION) EXPERIENCE. THERE WILL BE A FORCASTING ASSESSMENT. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE WATERFALL AND AGILE EXPERIENCE. ACTIVE PMP IS A 100% MUST HAVE. CSM/AGILE CERTIFICATIONS ALSO REQUIRED. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS. Candidates in Florida are a huge plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager will drive the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects that are approved and funded. The position guides complex projects from inception through delivery and support, working in close partnership with IT and business leaders. This role is in charge of defining objectives, creating plans to achieve objectives, tracking progress against objectives and budgets, driving execution of key projects and programs, coaching project team members and improving Agile project management processes.

Scope of Activities:
  • Mentoring, coaching, developing and encouraging excellence from IT teams utilizing Agile/Scrum principles
  • Providing strategic input to IT leadership and other client leadership on all aspects of projects or programs being managed
  • Working with the VP IT, IT Leaders, Product Owners and other Executives on key decision-making activities during project execution as needed
  • Providing thoughtful leadership within the IT organization in helping streamline and standardize key business processes across client business divisions and functions
  • Working with business leaders to document a clear vision of a business problem or opportunity being addressed with IT services, and how it supports the business plan
  • Incorporating best practices into IT organization, beginning with project/program management practices
  • Successfully managing and executing projects on schedule and budget
  • Holding accountability for in-scope, on-schedule, on-budget and high-quality delivery of all IT programs and projects in the accountable portfolio
  • Following and exemplifying consistent project management practices, processes and metrics
  • Developing clear, business language presentations for business senior leadership to support swift decision making and issue resolution when needed
  • Maintaining, socializing and enforcing the overall project management lifecycle for Client
  • Retooling personal skills and knowledge
  • Retooling and continually upgrading personal skills and knowledge of both client's business and cutting edge information technology solutions
  • Continually upgrading and enhancing knowledge of leading best practices in program/project management and providing a key source of expertise when needed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • More than 5 years of experience working in IT
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading projects in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Agile Coaching experience preferred
  • PMP, CSM, or CSP certification required
  • Proficiency with MS Project, and JIRA
  • Vendor Management, Application Development and Software Package Implementations experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving / decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
