Job Description

Talent Acquisition Manageris responsible for aligning the organization’s business objectives with staffing and management needs. The position works as a strategic partner with team managers and directors with the primary focus on driving culture and supporting the organization’s goals of attracting, retaining, and developing great talent.

Responsibilities:

Manage the talent acquisition team for full-cycle recruitment needs, inclusive of the development of a recruitment strategy that aids in filling vacancies efficiently with the best candidate.

Identify and deploy best practices and innovative sourcing and screening approaches for recruitment and staffing with a focus on operational excellence, and cost-effective recruitment solutions.

Design, develops and manage the applicant tracking system and establish internal workflows from the interview stage to onboarding.

Act as a single point of contact for managers to understand talent acquisition needs and develop pipelines for hard- to-fill or critical positions.

Maintain and updates job descriptions for position clarity and position fit within grade structure.

Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and organization policies and procedures

Remain current on industry trends involving innovative talent acquisition strategies through multi-media advertising, social media, job fairs, college fairs, networking, business and employee referrals, and/or third party assistance.

Analyze internal and external trends and develop metrics, in partnership with HR team members, for recruitment initiatives with the goal of developing stronger recruiting solutions

Develop and facilitate leadership training on effective talent acquisition skills, including but not limited to interviewing, retention, and talent management

Be available for other assigned special projects and duties as decided by leadership

Provides excellent customer service by:

oResponding timely to communications either from e-mails or phone calls.

oContactingstaff as needed to maintain client files and provide needed information.

oRecognizing,respecting and responding to the unique, culturally defined needs of others served.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Three (3) - (5) years of experience in full-cycle talent acquisition experience and human resources administration including but not limited to recruitment/selection, classification/compensation, HRIS, training and organizational development, supervision; training; employee and organizational development; leadership, team building, motivation and conflict resolution; and collaborative problem solving techniques; pertinent local, state, and federal laws; rules and regulations; modern office systems and personnel software.
  • SPHR,PHR,SHRM-CP,orSHRM- SCP preferred
