A new Kosher restaurant is opening in Miami Beach and is looking for an experienced in NY style deli and prepared foods must be able to slice meats on a slicer machine. Applicant should possess excellent customer service skills, have reliable transportation and be able to work flexible hours. We are closed on Saturdays. You should be able to handle busy days with the same positive attitude.
Currently in need of a professional prep cook. Someone who has a passion for prep cooking and works well in a high pace environment. A minimum of at least two full years is required in the capacity of line cook. Requirements include:
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a deli clerk, restaurant cook or prep cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industrys best practices
Culinary school diplomaResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
