We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative with in-depth product knowledge in the Marine & Industrial Trades. An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives in the following product lines:
Marine Hose, Sheet Rubber and Gasket Products, Rubber & Metal Hose, Stainless Steel Pipe, Valves & Fittings, Expansion Joints, Hydraulic Hose Assemblies, etc.
Understand customer needs and requirements
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
Answer incoming calls from our customers providing pricing, product specifications, lead times, etc
Handle walk-in customers
Service existing accounts
Process customer quotes and orders
Communicate via email and telephone with customers and vendors
Work together with other staff members on various projects
Create documents through CRM, Excel and Word
Strong phone presence
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Experience in Marine and/or Industrial Sales
A professional appearance
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
Must be a team player
Computer Savvy
Knowledge in Microsoft products
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task
