TV Channels Broadcasting Master Control Operator Entry Level
We are looking for entry level / junior operators for Master Control at a TV Broadcast Facility
Job tasks include
Monitoring Channels - Watching TV Channels being transmitted and monitoring video and audio for possible errors such as freezing, black screens, pixelations, flickering , no audio, audio noises or stuttering , wrong programming , wrong size of screen , lip synch issues , etc
Scheduling of channels = entering programming list or grid received channel directors into play-out computer ( video/audio player )
Basic Editing Content = running video/audio content files and entering time events for commercials / ads, live shows etc, add logos , etc.
Live Tv Shows - monitoring live shows contributions ( from satellite, Internet , etc ) switching TV Channel Broadcasting from stored programming to live shows and back
Basic troubleshooting of player issues, live show issues, video file issues
Multi-tasking
Education Minimum High-School
Average Computer skills - PC Windows Knowledge -How to connect Drives, how to restart a machine
Fluent English spoken and written is mandatory
Looking for positions 24 x 7 = weekdays, weekends , night shifts , grave yard shifts
Experience or AA schooling in TV Broadcasting or Journalism highly desirable - A entry level position as a first step for someone that wants to build a career in the TV industry
Attentive to detail, responsible, self driven individuals.
