Banks Engineering is a well-established Surveying and Engineering Firm in Southwest Florida and is offering a career opportunity for an experienced Survey Instrument Man. DESCRIPTION:

The candidate should be experienced in all facets of land surveying including, but not limited to construction stakeout, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, ALTA Surveys, and the various aspects of homebuilding surveys. The candidate’s responsibilities would include coordinating with crew chiefs to complete the assigned projects including keeping truck inventory on a daily basis. The position requires working outdoors, at times in the woods or swampy conditions. A minimum of one (1) year of survey experience as an Instrument Man is required, with experience in working with GPS preferred.

The position available is full time and the candidate would be working out of our Port Charlotte office. Pay will commensurate with experience and ability.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of Survey Experience as an Instrument Man.

• The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and will be detail oriented.

• Team oriented individual that works in cooperation with others to satisfy the overall project objectives.

• Self-motivated and capable of satisfying multiple project requirements simultaneously within a deadline sensitive environment.

• Candidate must have experience providing strong technical support with the crew chief in land surveying and construction services.

• The successful candidate must be able to function with little direction to meet project goals and take conceptual direction for project tasks and develop detailed plans to complete task.
