BEACON BOWL in Naples is now hiring cooks...both AM and PM shifts available. The cook prepares all food ordered for guests, events and parties. They provide excellent preparation and presentation of all food leaving the kitchen.
Role and Responsibilities
Complete orders as training and instructed to do so, placing food on plates per presentation
Will breakdown and clean all culinary equipment on each shift
Excellent communication skills
Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
Must be able to read and follow BEO's (Banquet Event Orders)
Prep food as needed for all parties and events as directed
Will ensure line checklists are completed and filled out accurately and legibly as instructed by manager
Prepare all food as per recipes and specs provided by F&B director
Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables.
Practices essential FIFO objectives date stamp all deliveries
Previously demonstrated cooking skills
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma and two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have current Food Handler's Permit.
Must be 18 years of age
