Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: One year experience in medical, psychiatric, nursing, childcare, or with persons with DD; required training is provided.
Other:18 years of age, Valid Florida Driver's License, proof of insurance, registration and the ability to drive.
Live-in Personal supports services provide assistance and training to the individual in activities of daily living such as the areas of eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and preparation of meals. When specified, this service may also include housekeeping chores such as bed making, dusting and vacuuming and assistance dong laundry and cooking. The support worker, to the extent properly qualified, assists in maintaining an individual's own home and property as a clean, sanitary and safe environment. Good basic written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
