GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for leading a landscape installation crew to successfully and efficiently receive, install, and establish all plant material and turf at customer projects. This is a critical role that enforces the safety and quality standards that the company requires.
Job Tasks:
1. Lead by example to prioritize and direct a variety of tasks related to the successful installation of palms, trees, shrubs, grasses, and groundcover.
2. Train and oversee the crew on the safe and efficient operation of all landscape equipment/tools.
3. Read plans and direct the proper layout of plant material for installation.
4. Coordinate with the Landscape Superintendent for future job needs and requirements.
Job Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of landscaping supervisory experience is preferred.
2. 2+ years of landscape installation experience is required.
3. Experience safely operating heavy equipment is preferred.
4. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
5. Experience driving a work truck and trailer is preferred.
6. Fluent in Spanish required. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
7. Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
