Part-time Mini-Mart Supervisor
Downtown Fort Myers
We are a small local vending company. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and honest person with an eye for detail and an excellent work ethic, to run our Mini-Mart at the Lee County Courthouse: 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; no nights, weekends, or holidays.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Opening Mini-Mart [making sure that machines are working, product is stocked, and market is ready for customers]
Assisting customers with purchase of product at the self-checkout kiosk
Making sure all stock is fresh and that stale product is removed in a timely manner
Replenishing stock from the store room when needed
Keeping the market clean and safe
Stocking 4-5 other vending machines throughout the building on an as-needed weekly basis
Collecting and keeping records of money collected from vending machines
Performing minor mechanical fixes to vending machines
Monitoring inventories and alerting management to product that must be purchased
Requirements:
Good use of spoken and written English [some Spanish would be helpful]
Excellent customer service
Some experience with minor mechanical repair is useful
Honest, dependable, and resourceful
Experience with small market retail is helpful, but we will train
Must be able to pass an FCIC/NCIC background test
Hours: approx. 18 per week
Starting wage: $14.00 hour
Note: This is a part-time position without benefits: it will never expand into a full-time position with benefits.
