Experienced Graphic Designer / Web Developer Needed (Fort Myers)
Full-time position (40 hours per week) available for an experienced web designer / graphic designer. Will work closely with our Marketing & IT departments. Ability to consistently meet deadlines is a must.
NOTE: You must be able to physically work in our office Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM and on rare occasions Saturday. Out-of-state / out-of-country / telecommute or work from home applicants will not be considered.
Key Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
- Proficient in Dreamweaver or similar web design software
- Excellent graphic design skills.
- Proficient or knowledgeable in HTML, HTML5, CSS
- Strong understanding of website design and user interface design
- Knowledge of web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, Edge etc.) as it relates to accepted web design practices and cross-browser compatibility
- Good understanding of Search Engine Optimization principles
- Experience with responsive web design
- Good understanding/knowledge of established web standards
Plus Skills Include:
- Experience with Webflow web design software
- Adobe Illustrator experience
- Adobe Premiere experience
- Adobe After Effects experience
- JQuery
- Social media (Facebook page design and maintenance, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram etc.)
We are not looking for a Word Press, WIX or Weebly experienced web designer. However, we may consider someone with this experience, if their graphic design skills fit what we are looking for and they are willing and able to quickly learn other ways of developing and designing websites.
