Dental assistant position available/ great working environment/ full time position
Our General Dentistry practice has been in the Gainesville-Newberry-Jonesville, FL area for the past 8 years.
We currently have an opening for an Expanded Functions Certified Dental Assistant at our office located in Gainesville-Newberry, FL. This is a full time position 32-40 hrs/week.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Help to maintain patient comfort
Manage supplies
Listen to patients' needs and educating them on dental procedures
Work efficiently to maintain the doctors schedule
Organize and maintain lab equipment
Take digital x-rays
Clean evacuation system. Lubricate and maintain dental hand pieces. Clean and maintain radiograph processors. Monitor and clean equipment, dental lab plaster traps and maintain clean office environment
Utilize and maintain a system of contact for patient follow-up/re-care.
Perform various office tasks as necessary
Requirements

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent communication and patient care skill
EagleSoft experience preferred
Ensure operatories are appropriately equipped and stocked with inventory and re-order when necessary
Good manual dexterity
Superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
Strong computer skills
Radiography Certificate
CPR Certification
Expanded Duty Function Certificate
