Medical office looking for a computer literate assistant with basic knowledge of insurance, HIPAA, scheduling patients, helping with office/patient flow etc. Should have excellent telephone skills; be good team player; be able to communicate professionally with staff & patients; & be able to multi-task in a high-paced environment with good organizational skills. Will also train the right person to take vitals; perform therapies on patients (ultrasound, e-stim, etc); demonstrate to patients prescribed exercises; and interact and communicate with patients in order to assist doctor in ensuring completion of prescribed treatment plan. Right person for the job is someone who learns quickly, retains information, works efficiently and independently, communicates well with staff and patients, and is energetic and motivated. Position is initially part-time with the likely opportunity to turn to full-time.
