We have an open position for an HR Assistant at our manufacturing plant in Gainesville, FL. HR experience is preferred, but not required. Primary duties:
Schedule interviews and issue applications in a controlled environment
File and maintain applications for future needs/reference
Run background checks and perform in-house applicant prescreening
Conduct New-Hire onboarding, orientation, and policy communication
Prepare the bi-weekly employee hours-worked-report for accounting dept
Maintain employee paper files and associated digital information
Assist with scheduling employee training through E-Safety training system
Issue, review, complete and file employment enrollment/termination paperwork
File termination paperwork
Respond to unemployment department
Complete projects assigned by VP of Manufacturing and corporate HR
