Our Bookkeepers Inc is a longstanding Accounting and Tax firm, and we are looking for a CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required to assist in the growth we are experiencing. We are small personable office, and we strive to be responsive and put our client's needs first.
Responsibilities:
Adjusting client books to level of completed financial statements, using QuickBooks desktop and online.
Preparing financial statements.
Preparation of client payroll and payroll tax filings.
Preparation and maintenance of client open items lists.
Experience in Individual, Partnership and S-Corp prep preferred.
Qualifications:
Take charge and self-starter
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, results oriented environment
Proficiency with QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks online and Excel
Proficiency with payroll and payroll tax filings
Required to work weekends and/or afternoon during tax season (January-April)
