Description

Robert Half Technology is looking for an Associate Product Manager for one of our clients to act as the liaison between sales, IT, and R& D and work with other Product Managers on launching hardware products.

Duties:

  • Identify needs of the customer
  • Defining product marketing communication objectives
  • Comparing the company's products to competitor's products in order to assess competition in the market
  • Providing management with analyses and reports and responding to questions and requests from management

Introduce and oversees systems and activities to maintain oversight of regulatory compliance, provide training and professional development for management and Commercial Motor Vehicle operations. Conduct audits and inspections of equipment, drivers hours of service, locations, and overall field operations to ensure compliance with the safety and regulatory policies. Manage and/or participate in the investigation of incidents, identifying root causes, and assists in initial report preparation. Prepares a timely final report of findings with recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure compliance with corporate policies as well as local, state and federal regulations. Develop standardization and best practices to safety processes, templates and practices. Review safety reports, corrective action requests, training, near misses, event reports, change of command forms etc.; and use technical expertise to provide feedback and/or suggest improvements. Interpret and evaluate the accumulation of data; and develop appropriate controls to mitigate hazards related to high risk operations. Champion the safety culture, perform operational assessments to review the effectiveness and efficiency of safety and environmental practices and procedures. Identify safety-training requirements and facilitate development and implementation of safety training programs. EDUCATION: Bachelor\'s degree in occupational safety and health, marine engineering/transportation or related scientific or management discipline; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education. EXPERIENCE: 5 years professional/managerial experience in safety, health and environmental management in transportation.Thorough understanding and knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Regulations as they pertain to the safe operation of a trucking operation.
