Title: Billing SpecialistLocation: United States-FL-JacksonvilleJob Number: 047052Job Summary: Provides daily support to the RR Claims process with a focus on protection of revenue. Analyzes and resolves inbound and outbound railroad claims tasks related to waybills that have had funds transferred to either CSX (inbound) or to the foreign road (outbound) through the interline settlement process. Primary Activities and Responsibilities:Work to resolve inbound foreign road claims and create payables based on conclusive research
Create outbound CSXT claims to recover revenue for settlements based on analytical reports
Collaborate with Technology and other Business Partners to resolve, improve, and implement solutions
Assist Billing Senior Manager with other value added projects
Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED AND 5 or more years of experience in Receivables, Accounting, Railroad Operations, Railroad Customer Service or related rail experience
Preferred QualificationsIn addition to meeting the above qualifications, any of the following are preferred:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related major field of study
1 or more years of non-supervisory experience in Accounting, Business, or Finance
Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of corporate financial principles and practices
Well spoken-exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Driven-results oriented
Inquisitive-innate curiosity
Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions
