HR ASSISTANT Industry: IT Staffing & Consulting As HR Assistant, you will serve as a Human Resources liaison for our recruiting and management operation teams. This position coordinates onboarding processes and procedures to ensure compliance is met for all pre-employment screening requirements. This includes but is not limited to, background and drug screening, obtaining of all required documents, verification of employment eligibility, personnel file creation/maintenance, consistent follow-up with candidates, clients, and internal team members.
2+ years of the Onboarding experience, including background checks, drug screens, and I-9 compliance.
Routinely follow up with candidates, recruiters, account managers, and outside vendors regarding the onboarding process missing paperwork, the status of background checks/drug screens, and other items as needed
Gather, review and consolidate pertinent data and develop/prepare HR reports and personnel files.
Perform extensive data entry into multiple online systems
Complete all filing in personnel files
Perform regular audits of files, employment eligibility, backgrounds, etc.
Provide excellent customer service to internal team members and candidates
Consistently display strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiar with the E-Verify process.
Participate in special projects or perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline
Minimum 2 years previous experience in Human Resource/Onboarding activities.

Strong PC skills including working knowledge of spreadsheet (Excel), word processing (Word), and PowerPoint software applications,

The Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader is an Assistant Restaurant Leader with Raising Cane’s that is also responsible for supporting new restaurant openings (NRO) by providing oversight of the training team and supporting their development. The Assistant Growth Restaurant Leader is also responsible for training the hourly restaurant managers and Assistant Restaurant Leaders while deployed. This role will be tasked with supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant before and after opening, and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture in all areas of restaurant operations. The Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader will lead NRO when needed.
