QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from accredited Nursing Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician Program.
Current listing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a CNA II or North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services as an EMT-I or EMT-P.
Previous hospital experience greater than 1 year preferred.
The ability to complete tasks as delegated by licensed staff to include data collection, patient care, care of the environment and any other task deemed necessary for the provision of quality patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
American Heart BCLS-C Certification within 90 days. NCI within 6 months of hire date.
Completion of Onslow Memorial Hospital’s Monitor Technician Course within 90 days of hire date. Maintain Monitor Tech Certification yearly renewal.
