Graduation from accredited Nursing Assistant Program.
Current listing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a CNAII or the Division of Facility Services for CNAI.
References from prior employment or academic program.
Prior hospital or clinic experience as a CNAII is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of age specific populations and how it relates to the appropriate provision of care. In the emergency care setting this includes infants, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
BLS Certification within 90 days.
The ability to complete tasks as delegated by licensed staff to include data collection, patient care, care of the environment and any other task deemed necessary for the provision of quality patient care.
