Job description
Operational Intelligence team seeks a true end user experience Sr. Systems Engineer with expertise in instrumenting HTTP traffic monitoring leveraging Glassbox, experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace.
Partner with development teams across the bank to integrate JavaScript (web) or an SDK (mobile) with applications for monitoring with Glassbox tool.
Experience with application development utilizing web platforms such as JAVA, IIS.
Key responsibilities include managing implementation, administering, managing, troubleshooting and supporting JavaScript integration for web sites and SDK for mobile Apps.
Create and deploy masking rules to block private and confidential customer data within Glassbox tool.
In addition to technical skills, the right candidate will have good communication and project management skills.
The right individual will serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities within operational intelligence team as an individual contributor.

Required Skills
3+ years' experience working with JavaScript in a commercial environment
A minimum of 3 years' experience with instrumenting end user experience / website monitoring and data analysis for single-page and client-side rendered applications
Understanding of web application development methodologies and technologies including JavaScript, Ajax, and client-side rendered web applications
Understanding of website monitoring and debugging tools, JavaScript, HTML, cookies & web analytics
Deep understanding of HTTP protocol and REST API
Solid understanding of web server technologies (Apache, Tomcat, IIS, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux platform
Diverse and hands-on development, engineering and troubleshooting skills
Understanding how different components in a web system fit together and affect each other, including software, hardware, and networking components
Self-motivated individual that can operate independently, own deliverables end-to-end, and overcome obstacles to achieve end-results with minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
Good communication and project management skills
Participate in on-call support rotation

Desired Skills
Hybrid mobile and native applications experience
Experience with real-user, network or other monitoring tools
Java application hosting
Knowledge of NoSQL DB like Cassandra database will be helpful
Knowledge of elastic search will be helpful
