RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client in Jacksonville, Florida (FL) is seeking to hire a remote Senior Scrum Master. You will act as a leader responsible for helping the team perform at their highest level. As a Senior Scrum Master, you are responsible for coaching, guiding, and leading an Agile team or teams.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as a subject matter expert and coach on Agile values and practices
Identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations
Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity, and innovation
Senior Scrum Master will promote an environment of continuous improvement
Ensure teams meet commitments to delivery based on velocity
Aligns team to delivery goals and processes
Facilitate meetings and discussions
Address impediments to team success
Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release goals
Senior Scrum Master will assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiating information
Work autonomously and influence team behaviors and practices based on Agile process
Actively looks for feedback on performance
Recognize opportunities for teams and individual improvement and provide recommendations including individual performance concerns
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification preferred
4+ years of relevant experience working with teams as a Scrum Master or equivalent role
Ability to influence change and foster a positive work environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Professional demeanor and appearance
Knowledge and ability to handle conflict resolution
Work collaboratively with all levels of management and teams
Efficient in Microsoft Office
Verifiable knowledge of Agile practices and Agile methodologies
Experience as a project manager and PMP certification is a plus
Experience with Program Increment planning is a plus
