We are looking for a top-notch individual for a FT front desk position (36-40 hours/wk, M-S) with multiple benefits offered. We are a dual location practice looking to hire primarily for our Jacksonville Beach clinic, but will require some shifts to be filled at our other location in south Jacksonville.
This person must possess great critical thinking and problem solving skills, compassion, a positive attitude, follow-through and excellent communication & teamwork skills. Multitasking is essential.
Front Desk Responsibilities:
-Greet clients and patients with top-notch customer service
-Serve as initial source of information to clients by understanding and explaining our vaccine protocols and other basic veterinary information (products, diets, etc).
-Answer and triage phone calls from clients.
-Schedule/Confirm appointments
-Data Entry/Scanning/Electronic faxing (we are a paper light office)
-Work patiently with clients.
-Monitor client flow from check-in to discharge.
-Assist veterinarians and technicians.
-Process payment transactions.
-Relay appropriate information to/from clients to doctors and/or management.
-Previous experience extremely beneficial, but not mandatory.
These responsibilities do not necessarily cover every task or duty that might be assigned. There may be additional responsibilities as necessary. If you have an interest in learning and growing in the veterinary profession, this could be the job for you.
